Job Description

TMC Technologies is searching for a qualified, energetic, and passionate candidate to join our NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Jon McBride Software Testing and Research (JSTAR) team. The JSTAR team works with many aspects of NASA spacecraft, ground software systems, and smallsat modeling & simulation development. TMC’s JSTAR engineers are responsible for designing, developing and deploying NASA spacecraft simulators for advanced Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.

Remote work is available for this position, but two days per week on site in Fairmont are required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

5 years of pertinent engineering, software, or embedded software systems experience

Strong software skills

Experience in design/implementation of complex systems, Linux development, C, C , and Python

U.S. Citizen with eligibility for a security clearance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience or familiarity with QEMU

Embedded experience and spacecraft hardware knowledge

Experience with Linux development and provisioners

Microcontrollers and FPGAs experience
